Handsome Fungus Beetle

Description:

Very small, red, hairy beetle with antennae that are 2/3 dark and red near base. I noticed this little beauty when I was photographing a box turtle. You can see the turtle in the background of the second image. :-)

Habitat:

Suburban yard. Border of yard where grass turns to woodlands.
