Spotting

Description:

Bulbous plant that has a thin brown skin and milky white flesh. This bulbous plant was brought to us at Fransmanshoek conservancy which is located on the coast in the Western Cape province of South Africa, just the bulbs and no stem or flowers to ID it on. It was found amoungst the root system of a recently removed Rooikrans tree and nearby a Milkwood's root system. Please could someone point us in the right direction to identifying this.

Habitat:

Coastal strandveld thicket.

Notes:
