Arenaria interpres
Body a little slimmer than the Black Turnstone. This one has still not molted to winter plumage. Legs dark orange, white from chest to under tail. Back is mixed brown, black and rust color. Head to chest is mottled black, white and brown. Sometimes can be found in flocks of other Ruddies, but this one was a lone one with the Black Turnstones.
Found along rocky shores or washed up sea weeds
