Description:

The male has a red plumage in the ventral part during the breeding period. Behind the Eyes has a dark band. Outside this period, the plumage of the ventral region is light gray with darker streaks.

Habitat:

It can be found throughout Brazil in the areas of fields and savannas. Are migratory birds moving to the north and Amazon during the winter.
