Transparent wings. the hind wings have a D shaped orangish patch where the wings attach to the body. Golden-ish body with a thick green-ish line down the mid ventral section. Couldn't get a better shot of the eyes.
On the wall of my terrace. It remained here, motionless for the better part of the day. It was gone by evening.
Thank you, Ornithoptera but it was It wasn't reddish...more like a molten gold colour. I will check closely again.
