These are probably my favorite pigeons ever. Well, the entire Goura spp. genus is really. They're so chunky. These ground dwelling (strange that this one is in a tree) pigeons are all listed as Near Threatened to Endangered, and that's no good.
Native to Australia and New Guinea.
