Thanks for explaining, Michele. It really is unfortunate that the foxes on Mt Etna have become habituated to people feeding them and that people keep doing it. The temptation to do it is understandable, but they are wild animals and people shouldn't be feeding carnivores. It is a good spotting though!

Mentre ero in escursione notturna sull'etna ho visto questo ragazzo che dava da mangiare alla volpe, in questa occasione ho saputo che le volpi dell'etna sono addomesticate, si avvicinano all'uomo perchè cercano cibo, penso che siano abituati a questo.

Not really wise to feed wild animals! I know it's a fantastic feeling but it is better that people don't for the good of everyone! :-)
