Chinese mantid egg case

Description:

These two structures are very similar to one I found last year and for which I received the suggestion that it was a mantis egg case. Any suggestions on what else they could be are welcome!

I agree that they look like Mantid egg cases (called oothecae), more specifically, they look like Chinese Mantid, Tenodera aridifolia, egg cases:
