Doratifera vulnerans
A tiny brown bristled slug caterpillar with a yellow saddle. There were two spotted on adjacent leaves. They grow into an even more bizarre caterpillar and then an intricately brown mottled moth. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/866... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/915... http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/796...

Great colors!
Karen, I got touched by one last year and it caused an itchy rash for about half an hour.
Looks like one of those buggers that can really pack a wallop of a sting with those colorful spines!
nice spotting
