Hemma I think you're right, I would call it Picoides nuttallii, Nuttall's Woodpecker.
looks like a nutalls? There is no white strip running down the back as in Downy.

Hemma I think you're right, I would call it Picoides nuttallii, Nuttall's Woodpecker.
