Ferruginous Duck

This Male Ferruginous Duck was the only one of his kind this day on Lake Geneva, but always close to a few Common Pochards. He was definitely the most active and stressed looking though. It is really not usual to see Ferruginous Ducks in the harbor like that.

Nice find Jonathan! I've never seen one on the lake, but I've spotted one twice at a pond in Martigny:
