Description:

A really beautiful bird, so many colours and such striking wings, really amazing. Rust and Olive on the back of the body, lilac chest and blue lower body, small black eye stripe and a fluffed up olive to blue head. When the wings are extended they are straight across the shoulder and curve in towards the body. The wings are light turquoise blue bordered with a dark navy blue. Really pretty.

Habitat:

Seen in open savanah in Mikumi National Park, Tanzania
