Bug

Description:

Green leaf sucking bug with distinctive ‘snowflake’ pattern on flank.

Habitat:

Adjacent to a small stream. Altitude 1000m.

Notes:

This bug has proven to be difficult to identify. A very common bug, that I can collect images of any time. Found on mimosa type tree.

Homoeocerus sp has been suggested, but no reliable confirmation. Help for this one would be appreciated.

Great series Dave. Cool pattern & are they tiny mites on it's shoulders in the last 2 shots? So much to see here. Fantastic!
