Trametes versicolor
Cap: Largest approximately 5 cm across; approximately 1 mm thick; flexible; bracket-shaped in rows along the branch, or kidney-shaped in rosettes on top of the branch; sometimes fused with other caps; velvety; concentric zones of white, brown, cinnamon, and reddish brown, and orange). Pore Surface: Whitish to tan; with 4 or more tiny pores per mm; tubes approximately 1 mm deep. Does not stain with KOH.
Growing on fallen branch near lake.
