This horned grebe was patrolling the shallow waters near the Edmonds ferry terminal when it spotted me. It stopped for a moment -- just long enough for me to compose a shot -- then dove into the water for a fish. Photo taken with a Pentax 300mm prime telephoto lens in Edmonds, WA.
