I saw one floating around with a seagull for a while (last photo). There were a few of these birds around the boat, but they were always outnumbered by seagulls

Thanks Joshua! I was surprised at how many birds there were just out there in the middle of the ocean. I saw gannets, a brown booby, and a couple others that we passed too quickly to get photos of. Maybe next time!

Very nice find! Pelagic birding is the last frontier for most birders! You have a leg up.
