Description:

perennial weed in the grass in disturbed area; lots of them, basal rosettes, leafless spikes of inconspicuous flowers, drought tolerant and survives children trampling it on playground; older leave are broader than new one, oblong lance shaped, hairy at base, gradually tapering, green, prominent parallel veins.
