Yes, was in the Fakahatchee Strand. One of the last places where you have a decent chance of seeing a Florida Panther in the wild. Black bears frequent the area as well.
I know, it was pretty disappointing bigfoot didn't make an appearance as well. Upon seeing the bear, the panther actually chased the bear and the two disappeared into the dense foliage. Not sure of the outcome, however I do remember walking away with about a million mosquito bites. Mosquitoes in February, gotta love Florida
