This is not a locust, it is a Grasshopper. The term locust is only used when they change behaviour under specific climaological conditions and form huge swarms and devour all the greenery they can. This is clearly not the case here.
There is no yellow spot on the abdomen, the yellow you see is on the reversed knee joint of the rear leg.
