Mistletoe parasitizing a range of monsoon rainforest species. Food plant for Scarlet Jezabel, Northern Purple Azure and Northern Pencilled-blue Butterflies. The black dots on the outside of the petals appear to differentiate this species from other mistletoes. Member of the Loranthaceae.
