Vigorous climbing plant which dies back during the monsoon dry season. Distributed throughout out S.E asia, Tropical Africia and China. It's status is Australia is unclear, considered native in coastal areas of the Northern Territory and Western Australia but an environmental weed in Queensland. Member of the Combretaceae family.

Habitat:

Monsoon rainforest.
