Lynx Spider

Hamadraus sp. Family: Oxyopidae

Lynx Spider with prey. These spiders are the best at ambush hunting. They hardly build any webs to trap their prey, instead they wait, hidden below the leaves or amongst flowers for their prey and ambush it once it nears.

Seen at a forest in Goa which lies in a rainforest region with a tropical climate, warm and humid.
