Bos gaurus, Smith 1927
Gaur is the tallest species of wild cattle. It's native to Asia and Southeast Asia. It's been marked as vulnerable on the IUCN Red list since 1986. The gaur has a body length of 250 - 330cm with 70 - 105cm of tail. and 165 - 220cm tall at the shoulder. It weighs from 650 to 1 000kg. Males are much larger than females.
