Bar-shouldered Doves have a gray head and upper breast, and a reddish copper patch with dark bars on the back of the neck and shoulders. Body is grayish brown above with scaly markings. Underside is white.The eye ring tends to be grey but red-brown when breeding.
Spotted from the bird hide at the Broome Bird Observatory (BBO).

This is a very neat bird, but every time I take a glance at it it looks like a painting! Very nice photography!
