Description:

Metallic green head(male) and neck, yellow bill, tan collar, lighter breast, tail feathers are curled up.

Habitat:

This group of male and female mallards were found in a pond fed by the Guadalupe River in Texas. The pond was surrounded with cypress and grasses and one pecan tree at its end.
