Great Tit

Parus sp.

Relatively fresh bird droppings, probably that of Great Tit, found on mats of mousses on forest floor. The white ends points out to birds (urines are evacuated at the same time, and form that white cover on one end), and the shape and size (refer to pics N° 2-3 for a scale against the field magnifying glass) a bird size of sparrow.

Found on mats of mousses on forest floor in a lowland broadleaved (oak, beech mainly) forest, Geneva lake valley.
