Cedar waxwing

Bombycilla cedrorum

Description:

This one decided to show off its crown. There were several Cedar waxwings at the wetlands this day. I watched four of them chase and systematically take down a large dragonfly in flight.

Habitat:

Wetlands at Flaming Geyser State Park.
