Spotting

Description:

Brown fungus found after days of heavy rain. It looked like a bran muffin just sitting on the lawn! The top surface was dusty like cocoa powder. The second to last picture shows the underside after I broke it from the stalk. The last shows the two halves after I split it, the hole in the ground where the stalk was growing, and the yellowish stalk.
