Spotting

Description:

At a first glance, I thought of common agama with some colouring problem, or a youngster... but then, based on one pics found on Internet, I started thinking of Senegal agama or Agama sankaranica (?????). In this pic, the colours of the lizard look roughly similar - dark grey body with pale orange head. Otherwise, did not find much about A. sankaranica...

Habitat:

Urban - seen in central Abuja, in a hotel complex

I have a similar impression about the two species' possibilities. There seems to be a discussion along this line here https://www.fugleognatur.dk/forum/show_m... but I may be wrong because I don't understand Danish. Sorry I can't be much help on this ID.
