A praying mantis approx. 12cm long, just happened to catch a Blue Argus butterfly as we walked past. He wasted no time digging in and while he didn't mind the camera he kept an eye on me the whole time.

Thanks Leanne and Armadues. Just happened to walk past as he caught the butterfly, otherwise I might have stepped on him!

I have been searching around for a matching mantis for this beauty. I have not found an exact match yet. It might be a Rhodomantis species.
