Panaeolus foenisecii

Description:

Small mushrooms clustered in the grassy area of Brooklyn Botanic Garden. You can see the brown spores spilt onto one of the lower mushrooms from the tallest one. Panaeolus foenisecii is a guess of mine. Now I'm wondering whether Mystery Mushroom B is the same thing.

Habitat:

Grassy lawn of BBG.
