Vanellus miles

Description:

Large common plover of Australia, found in parks and lawns near water. Easily identifiable by the bright yellow facial mask

Habitat:

elder park

Notes:

another species that became my photo target due to the difficulty of obtaining good photos. Fast moving with a highly reflective face that made focus difficult
