Description:

They grow to a length of about 10.5 inches which includes a tail that is just over 4 inches long. They are nocturnal but can be active during the day.

Habitat:

Spotted at the National Butterfly Center in Mission, Texas. The habitat was at a treeline bordering a meadow with tall grass.
