Found from the Indian subregions to Taiwan and Sulawesi, Scopula divisaria is a moth of the Geometridae family. Kingdom: Animalia Phylum: Arthropoda Class: Insecta Order: Lepidoptera Family: Geometridae Genus: Scopula Species: S. divisaria

Habitat:

Subtropical mountainous area, dense brush & trees

Notes:

Found resting peacefully near the washbasins by a temple at the top of the mountain by my apartment. Took my breath away when I saw it. Measured about 4 cm from wingtip to wingtip.
