Orange crust

Description:

Puffy deep orange growths with a smooth surface and irregular margins. On the upper side of the log the growth appeared to have thinned off to a blackened crust with blisters. The centres of some of some of these blisters had collapsed forming regular rimmed wells.

Habitat:

Growing on a very damp decaying log -temerate rainforest.
