Southern oak bush cricket

Meconema meridionale

Description:

Female. Not native to Berlin, but we have them anyway.

Habitat:

Fence surrounding a garden

Notes:

I've seen quite a few of these recently on the same fence in an urban area. So far they've all been female. The numerous spiders that also inhabit that fence appear to be leaving them alone.
