Description:

Tiny spider on an orb web in a cedar bush. When disturbed (e.g. if I got too close or accidentally touched the web), it would immediately drop on a thread to the vegetation below, wait a little while, and then come back up again.

In English, it's apparently a lined orb weaver. Gave it the German common name here because I didn't know the English one at the time, and German Wikipedia had an article about it, whereas English Wikipedia didn't :)
