Great Crested Grebe

Podiceps cristatus

Description:

There were a number of them, looked to be of varying age. Some looked like they still had some of the juvenile black markings. Black duffs of feathers on the top of the head, with a copper around the upper neck and white face.

Notes:

According to the map provided by Wikipedia, they don't come to Korea. Although if they don't live here, it could be on their migratory path.
