Trimeresurus malabaricus
A gorgeous yellow morph Malabar Pit Viper is perched up on a rain drenched bamboo thicket. Endemic to Southwestern India, these species have a number of different colour morphs including colours such as yellow, green and brown.
Rainforest and Evergreen forest of Agumbe. The forests of Agumbe is a part of the Western Ghats. The Western Ghats have an exceptionally high level of biological diversity including many endemic species. It is also recognized as one of the world’s eight hottest hotspots' of biological diversity, inscribed in the UNESCO World Natural Heritage sites list in July 2012
