Cup Fungus

Paragalactinia michelii

Description:

I thought it was jelly ear, but when I went to flip it over it was not rooted onto a stick like I thought. You can see in the last photo the patch missing that must have been anchoring it onto the dirt.

Habitat:

Moist, rich dirt in a vegetable garden

Notes:

1st spotting of this species on PN
