Roseate spoonbill

Platalea aajaja

Description:

These roseate spoonbills were spotted way way out on the marshes and taking pictures of them was extremely difficult because don't have a high zoom camera. Was still lucky to spot them and enjoyed watching them from afar. They are a bright pink bird with a spoonlike bill.

Habitat:

This flock of spoonbills were spotted in the marsh at Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge in Anahuac, Texas
