Tan Jumping Spider

Platycryptus undatus

Description:

A female (based on the markings) specimen of the tan jumping spider. Though she doesn't look very tan. Very curious spider. Super cute. Also relatively if not completely harmless. They bite defensively but very rarely.

Habitat:

This spider is found throughout southeastern Canada and the eastern USA.
