Cool! I couldn't really find anything about the 'why?' in relation to yellow feet...just that they have them :D

This is a young bird, you can tell that by the back of the black legs still being yellow. The adult birds have solid black legs. So could definitely be the reason the feet are still part black to

Looks like it stepped in yellow paint :D Just found this link about the feet: http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Snowy... "...brilliant yellow feet. Those feet seem to play a role in stirring up or herding small aquatic animals as the egret forages."
