Spotting

Description:

A small aquatic plant about 20 cm tall. Reddish stem and almost white leaves. An almost fern like quality, except for the fact that the leaflets are round and not flat.

Habitat:

This is on a sand/gravel bar in the Cle elum river (under water during large rain events). I spotted several of these plants in a 12 meter dia., but no where else.

Thank you Machi. I had put this one on the back burner after coming up blank in my research. I would love to find out what it is mostly because of the inhospitable habitat its growing in.
