Notodontidae Moth

Gazalina sp.

Description:

Small white moth that looks like someone drizzled lines of chocolate sauce on vanilla icecream. The head is a mop of fuzziness.

Habitat:

Resort at Village Borong, Sikkim. Drawn to the electric lights. The area is hilly and remote.

Notes:

These moths were pretty common 3-4 under every light bulb. There was an identical one except that the white fuzz on the head was yellow.
