Stick Spider

deinopis kollari

Description:

This creature seemed to be a type of spider. (In the picture, it looks a lot like a squid, and is shaped like a straight line. It is located near the center of the image). It was hanging on a web, and was around 2 inches long. It did not seem to be prey of the web. It is grey with a bit of black at the top of it. It could scamper pretty fast. The web was a foot long, and ten inches wide at it's biggest areas.

Habitat:

On a web over a small pool of water, in a public park, very close to a conservatory.
