Cooper's Hawk

Accipiter cooperii

Description:

My wife and I were having breakfast when she saw this Cooper's Hawk on the ground with a mouse in its claw. It flew to a branch of the pine tree to eat it. Then it went to an upper branch and stayed there for more than an hour ( maybe more, but I had to go to work). It was a treat.

Habitat:

In the garden in my house in the city.
