Description:

Caps. Fan shaped; bright orange; prominently hairy. Largest cap ca. 1.5-2 inches wide. Flattened. Gills. Bright orange.

Habitat:

Growing out of the top of a conifer stump in an open mowed area with conifers.

Notes:

These mushrooms will persist for several months.
