Medium sized dear. Life span of 6-14 years. Weight from 110-300 as an adult. Herbivores. Smallest members of the dear family in North America. Hunted by humans for sport and food. Summer in the meadows. Winter in the forests.

Habitat:

Native to North America, Central America, Ecuador, and South America as far south as Peru and Bolivia. Lives in herds.
