Ceratiomyxa fruticulosa

Description:

Tiny, branched coral-like structures that have a slightly fuzzy appearance. Individual fruiting bodies are 0.5-1 mm wide.

Habitat:

I spotted them growing in large clusters on rotting wood throughout a mixed forest.
